BOARD OF EDUCATION
SEPTEMBER 12, 2016 REGULAR MEETING
FOR THE SKYLINE STAFF AND PATRONS
The Skyline Board of Education met in regular session Monday, September 12, 2016. Routine business included payment of bills, Treasurer’s reports, and the SCKSEC Minutes.
The first item of business was the Superintendent’s report from Becca Flowers: update on the Gannon Case Hearing, 2016-17 Enrollment and KESA.
Old Business included information on BOE Vision & Goals, and the purchase of a 12-passenger bus.
Contracts were issued to Chris Sanders – MS Head Girls BBall Coach and MS Sponsor; Brad Pagenkopf, Driver’s Education Instructor; Aleta Gatz for Food Service and Custodial; Melvin Jeske for Custodial; Linda Bishop, Musical Asst. all for the 2016-17 school year. They also approved Kayla Durall’s resignation from the Food Service Department.
The Board heard the 2016 CPA Audit Report from Stan Busby with Busby Ford and Reimer. They approved updates to the K-6 Handbook and heard information about a group that has been formed to represent the taxing entities of Pratt County.
The next meeting will be Monday, October 10, 2016 at 7:30 p.m.
